BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID   ("Dos hombres y un destino" in Spanish) Do you remember the scene in which Paul Newman and Fay Dunaway are sharing a bike with herself on the crossbar and Newman steering? Absolutely lovely! Raindrops keep falling on my head  And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed  Nothin' seems to fit  Those raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling  So I just did me some talkin' to the sun  And I said I didn't like the way he' got things done  Sleepin' on the job  Those raindrops are falling on my, head they keep falling  But there's one thing I know  The blues he sends to meet me won't defeat me  It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me   Raindrops keep falling on my head  But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red  Crying's not for me  Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'...

REMEMBER THIS

After Patrick shows up at Sally's apartment to "save" her from an imaginary spider at three in the morning, they both remember how they first met at a Susan's office party. Their versions differ slightly, as Sally's memory ends with her in Patrick's arms and Patrick's memory ending with a drunk Sally and him kissing to the Spiderman theme. At the end, Sally and Patrick decide to stop spending so much time together, as nothing will come of it. (Sorry about the subtitles) Coupling post on Nov. 2009

Why do people love this song? “Alice’s Restaurant” recounts Guthrie’s true Thanksgiving Day adventure as a satirical, deadpan protest against the Vietnam War draft. On November 25, 1965, the 18-year-old Guthrie and his friend Richard Robbins, 19, were arrested by Stockbridge police officer William “Obie” Obanhein for illegally dumping some of Alice’s garbage after discovering that the town dump was closed for the holiday. Two days later, they pled guilty in...
