My dear students, here you can find different websites where you can practise listening on your own. Some of the websites include exam practice exercises. Others, however, only provide the videos but you can read the script at the same time, which, as you all know, it's good practice for your learning. Just click on the words TRANSCRIPT, SCRIPT, TEXT or something similar and get ready to improve your listening skill! PBS NewsHour (American English) ABC The World Today (Australian English) CNN Students News (American English) NPR (American English) Click on TOPICS VOA News (American English) Future Radio (British English) BBC Learning English (British English) Here you have a link to a list of British radio stations . ReplyDeleteLOL
Why have you changed the format?
The ancient format was really nice!
What a pitty!
I've been your follower for a long time.
Manoli
Hey, Manoli. How's things?
DeleteYes, after so many years I've decided it was high time it had a makeover, don't you think? I hope it doesn't put you off... you've been a keen follower all this time.
Besides, you know what they say ... you have to change with the times...
Keep in touch
Hi Laura!
ReplyDeleteI’ll be there reading your new blog, I’m really aware of the importance of continuing reading so your blog is perfect!
That’s why I’d like to encourage your students to read the fiction story of “A village after dark” published in “The New Yorker Magazine", It is a very good reading... I hope your students would enjoy as I did.
Thanks because of your support Laura.
